Do I really need the 2-5minutes? Yes, the product will not work if you leave it on for shorter amounts of time or don't use it consistently everyday. We recommend applying your Alpecin Shampoo as soon as you get in the shower and rinsing just before you hop out.


Grey Attack Shampoo or Tuning Shampoo: Grey attack is more permanent coverage. It will slowly build up colour for a natural looking cover of your greys. The key ingredient, 5,6-DHI reacts with oxygen over time to slowly develop and darken. It is suitable for those with some greys.
While tuning the colour pigment is deposited on the hair and can slowly be built up with each wash. This colour is not permanent, it will slowly wash out once discontinued. Suitable for first greys, grey streaks and to help prolong salon colour.

Is the Alpecin Tuning Shampoo a hair dye? No, the Alpecin Tuning Shampoo is not a hair dye. The shampoo contains dark pigments that are deposited on the outside of the hair surface when you wash it. The colouring effect disappears if the shampoo is no longer used.

Do I wash the Alpecin Caffeine Liquid or Liquid Forte out? No leave it in your hair. No rinsing necessary. Just like you would with any styling products.
