Do I really need the 2-5minutes? Yes, the product will not work if you leave it on for shorter amounts of time or don't use it consistently everyday. We recommend applying your Alpecin Shampoo as soon as you get in the shower and rinsing just before you hop out.


Grey Attack Shampoo or Tuning Shampoo: Grey attack is more permanent coverage. It will slowly build up colour for a natural looking cover of your greys. The key ingredient, 5,6-DHI reacts with oxygen over time to slowly develop and darken. It is suitable for those with some greys.
While tuning the colour pigment is deposited on the hair and can slowly be built up with each wash. This colour is not permanent, it will slowly wash out once discontinued. Suitable for first greys, grey streaks and to help prolong salon colour.

I have a full head of white hair, will Grey Attack work for me? Grey Attack is designed for those with greying hair, salt and pepper hair or first signs of greys. When using on full white hair, the results may vary. The product will need to be left on longer and may take longer then the recommended 2-3 weeks to colour the hair adequately.

Application

  1. Wet the hair and massage into the scalp and hair. Leave the shampoo on for 2 to 5 minutes - from application to rinsing off. A longer application intensifies the colour effect!
  2. Use daily until the desired colour result is achieved. Then it can be alternated with other Alpecin shampoos..

If you're expecting an instant

"If you're expecting an instant solution then this is not for you. However if used daily the change is very noticeable over a few weeks. It's a stealthy change. I apply it directly onto the hair for a few minutes then lightly wet the hair and massage in the grey attack and leave for a few minutes before rinsing. It works and I'll keep using it."

"Regrettably, I must share that this product has been ineffective for me. Despite using it diligently for several weeks on both my hair and beard, I've noticed an increase in visible greys rather than a reduction. I followed the recommended maximum timeframe for application, yet it failed to deliver any noticeable results. It's disappointing to now have two bottles of shampoo that haven't made any difference."
